Posts, Rails & Spindels

Northern White Cedar posts, rails and spindles come in many facets. There are many ways to debark a log and each way leaves the log with a unique character and displays the natural beauty of the wood and its grain.

Peeled, Machine Hewn, Hand Hewn, German Peeled and draw knife are the many ways to peel a log. How we debark it depends on the dimension of the log. Hand hewn and draw knife are done with larger logs because the machine can only handle up to certain sizes.

The sizes range from 2" to 10" and larger if requested. Lengths can be as long as a full tree (Tree Length).

Rails and spindles can be pre drilled with tenoned ends to fit any stairway and are used to build log furniture.
